Terms & Conditions

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using QuickDorm. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, placing an order, or using any feature of QuickDorm, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These terms apply to all users including students, delivery partners, and administrators. QuickDorm reserves the right to update these terms at any time with reasonable notice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use QuickDorm. By registering, you represent that:

  • You are a current student, faculty member, or resident of a registered campus hostel
  • You have provided accurate and complete registration information
  • You will keep your account credentials confidential
  • You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts

    • QuickDorm is currently available only to verified campus and hostel addresses. Orders placed to non-eligible locations will be cancelled and refunded.

    3. Account Responsibilities

    You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your phone number, password, and account
  • All activity that occurs under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access at quickdormofficial@gmail.com
  • Ensuring your contact and delivery information is accurate and up-to-date

    • QuickDorm is not liable for losses resulting from unauthorized account use due to your failure to secure your credentials.

    4. Orders & Payments

    When you place an order on QuickDorm:

  • Your order constitutes a binding purchase offer for the listed products at listed prices
  • Payment must be completed via Cashfree's supported payment methods (UPI, cards, wallets)
  • Orders are confirmed only after successful payment processing
  • Prices include applicable GST unless stated otherwise
  • Delivery fees, if applicable, will be shown before checkout confirmation

    • We reserve the right to cancel orders in cases of inventory unavailability, payment failure, or suspected fraud. In such cases, a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days.

    5. Delivery Limitations

    QuickDorm delivers exclusively to registered hostel and campus addresses. By placing an order, you acknowledge:

  • Delivery is available only within the campus zones registered with QuickDorm
  • Estimated delivery times (15–25 minutes) are approximate and may vary due to demand, weather, or partner availability
  • You must be available at the delivery address to receive your order
  • If a delivery attempt fails because you are unavailable, the order may not be re-attempted and a refund may not apply
  • QuickDorm is not responsible for delays caused by incorrect delivery addresses provided by you

    • 6. Prohibited Activities

    You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose
  • Place fraudulent or fake orders
  • Abuse or harass delivery partners or support staff
  • Attempt to manipulate pricing, stock counts, or order flows
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the platform
  • Create multiple accounts to circumvent suspensions
  • Share your delivery partner login credentials with unauthorized persons
  • Use the platform to resell products commercially

    • Violations may result in immediate account suspension and potential legal action.

    7. Cancellation Rights

    User-initiated cancellations:

  • Orders can be cancelled within 2 minutes of placement if dispatch has not begun
  • Once a delivery partner has accepted and picked up the order, cancellation is not possible
  • Cancellations after dispatch will not be eligible for a refund

    • Platform-initiated cancellations:

  • QuickDorm may cancel orders due to stock unavailability, payment issues, or force majeure events
  • In such cases, a full refund will be processed automatically

    8. Limitation of Liability

    To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • QuickDorm's total liability for any claim arising from platform use shall not exceed the value of the disputed order
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • We are not responsible for third-party payment gateway failures, network outages, or force majeure events
  • Product quality disputes should be reported within 2 hours of delivery with supporting photo evidence

    • Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by QuickDorm's negligence.

    9. Service Availability

    QuickDorm operates during defined service hours and within registered campus zones. We do not guarantee:

  • 24/7 availability of the platform
  • Availability of specific products at all times
  • Delivery to all buildings within a campus at all times

    • We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime or service changes.

    10. Account Suspension

    QuickDorm reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice in cases of:

  • Violation of these Terms & Conditions
  • Fraudulent or abusive behaviour
  • Non-payment of outstanding charges
  • Providing false registration information

    • Suspended users may appeal by contacting quickdormofficial@gmail.com within 14 days of suspension.

    11. Governing Law

    These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of QuickDorm shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.

    If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
